Clinical Psychology Assessment and Therapy
For initial assessments a one-off fee of £340 (£345 from 1st Jan 2026) is payable. This covers:

the 80 minute face-to-face meeting
-
any necessary telephone calls, for example to a GP or school (only done with your full consent)
-
a detailed report outlining the psychologist’s understanding of the difficulties, and recommendations.
Our hourly rate is £145 (£148 from 1st Jan 2026) per session and nearly all therapy/follow on sessions are one hour.
Your fee includes post-appointment e-mail support (for non-urgent issues – we will respond within three working days).
For any follow up reports, this will be quoted directly depending on the nature of the report.
Clinical Nurse Specialist Assessment and Therapy
For initial assessments a one-off fee of £230 (£236 from 1st Jan 2026) is payable. This covers:

the 60 minute face-to-face meeting;
-
any necessary telephone calls, for example to a GP or school (only done with your full consent)

a letter outlining the understanding of the difficulties, and recommendations.
Our hourly rate is £115 (£118 from 1st Jan 2026) and nearly all therapy/follow on sessions are one hour. Your fee includes post-appointment e-mail support (for non-urgent issues – we will respond within three working day).
For any follow up reports, this will be quoted directly depending on the nature of the report.
Assistant Psychologist - Post Diagnostic Support/Therapy Sessions
Post diagnostic support and therapy sessions are carried out by an Assistant Psychologist who is supervised by a Clinical Psychologist.
Our hourly rate is £90 (£93 from 1st Jan 2026) and nearly all post diagnostic support sessions are one hour. Your fee includes post-appointment e-mail support (for non-urgent issues – we will respond within three working day).
For any follow up reports, this will be quoted directly depending on the nature of the report.
ADHD Assessments
ADHD screening appointments (including Conners questionnaire) - £255 (£260 from 1st Jan 2026)
ADHD Assessment Cost £1940
The assessment consists of the follow components:

QB-Check for your child, completed at the clinic.

Parent DIVA interview, completed at the clinic.

Child DIVA interview, completed at the clinic.

Input from school, usually via a school observation or teacher interview.

WISC-V (Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, Version Five) for your child, completed at the clinic.

Full developmental history and review, completed with parents/caregivers only with Dr Jen Swanston at the clinic.

Write up and generation of comprehensive report pack including diagnostic decision and recommendations.
Autism Assessments
Autism screening appointments – £145 (£148 from 1st Jan 2026)
Autism Assessment Cost – £2700
The assessment consists of the following components:

DISCO (Diagnostic Interview for Social and Communication Disorders), which is completed with parents/caregivers only. This is carried out either at the clinic or via teams.

ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Version 2) for your child, completed at the clinic.
-
Input from school, usually via a school observation or teacher interview.

Occupational Therapy assessment, completed at the clinic.

Write up and generation of comprehensive report pack including diagnostic decision and recommendations.

Complimentary follow up appointment to discuss recommendations.
Combined Autism & ADHD Assessments

Speech and Language Assessments
Comprehensive EHCP Speech and Language Assessment
Assessment Cost – £850
The assessment consists of the following components:

Review of background information and questionnaires.
-
Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals (CELF) (2 hours in clinic with the young person and parent/carer).

School observation.
-
Comprehensive report write up with Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) recommendations.
Standard Speech and Language Assessment
Assessment Cost – £500
The assessment consists of the following components:

Review of background information and questionnaires, including a school questionnaire.
-
Administer of specific subtests of the CELF or other relevant assessment measures (1 hour in clinic with young person and parent/carer).

A detailed report, to include review of speech needs and recommended targets
Speech and Language Therapy/Consultation
Charged at £115 per hour
Learning Disability Assessments
Assessment Cost - £1300
The assessment consists of the following components:

Review of background information and questionnaires.
-
WISC-V (Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, Version Five) for your child, completed at the clinic.
-
Vineland-3 Adaptive Behaviour Scales which is completed with the parents/carers only. This is carried out at the clinic.

Write up and generation of comprehensive report pack including diagnostic decision and recommendations.
Stand-alone Cognitive Assessment
Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children – Fifth UK Edition (WISC V) cognitive assessment including detailed report – £600.
How to pay
We accept payment by BACS transfer or card payment.
Medical Insurance
Unfortunately we do not accept medical insurance directly. However, you may be able to claim back your support via your insurance company directly. Please contact your insurer directly to explore this option.
Cancellations
Please contact us as early as possible if you have to cancel an appointment.
We will not charge you for cancellations or moving appointments, unless you give us less than one working day notice. To help you we will send an email reminder 48 hours before so that you can let us know if there is a problem.
With less than one working day notice we need to charge the full price. This is because we have reserved the space for you and it will not be possible for us to offer the time for another family with such short notice.
